JD100 Points: One of the wines of the vintage, the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Beckstoffer Las Piedras Vineyard offers incredible aromatics of red and black fruits intermixed with savory tobacco, leather, and dried flowers as well as gorgeous minerality that emerges with time in the glass. On the palate, it's full-bodied, with a dense, layered, focused texture that builds with time in the glass, and it has ultra-fine tannins and incredible length. This is absolutely magical juice from this brilliant winemaker. It offers pleasure today yet will benefit from 4-5 years of bottle age and keep for a solid two decades. Drink 2030-2050. -Jeb Dunnuck
