General

We are open M-F 9-4 PST. We are closed on major holidays.

We invest an enormous effort to ensure the quality of our wines. While a considerable portion of our inventory is purchased direct through negociants, we also buy and sell private collections and work with many international and domestic sources to build our portfolio. Our imports are exclusively transported in temperature-controlled containers by sea freight. Each parcel is carefully inspected upon arrival and maintained between 55°F and 58°F in our state-of-the-art storage facility. Our commercial refrigeration systems are backed up by generators to protect our inventory in the event of power outages.   

We do not have minimum or maximum order restrictions, nor do we charge for broken cases.

No, we operate from a commercial storage facility. Customers may make appointments to pick up their orders at our warehouse. Please contact us in advance to schedule a pickup.  

Insurance is offered during checkout and priced at 1% of the value of the wine. Insurance covers breakage and/or loss during transit. Temperature related damage is not covered.

Shipping

We offer year-round shipping. Please be mindful that extreme temperatures can damage wine in transit. If you would like to hold your order for shipping at a later date, we offer up to one year of free storage with every purchase.

We usually ship the next business day for orders that are in-stock. If you are located across the country and your order was placed in the later part of the week, we will often wait to ship your order until the following Monday. If you have specific shipping requirements, please call us or send us an email with your shipping instructions.

We do offer limited international shipping. Please contact us for further information.

Federal law requires an adult signature to deliver any package containing alcohol. As a result, we cannot ship to a PO Box.

We only ship to a limited number of states where local laws allow wine shipments. Please contact us for further information.

Delivery

We only offer local delivery within the San Francisco Bay Area. We offer
local delivery to most zip codes within the following counties:
Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, San
Francisco, San Jose, Solano, and Sonoma.

$20. Free delivery for deliveries of wine value exceeding $1500.

There is a $500 order minimum for local delivery. Orders over $1500 will be delivered free of charge.

Yes, our delivery agent will require ID verification upon delivery.

We schedule deliveries based on the number of delivery orders to each area. If you need immediate delivery, please request shipping of your order via common carrier or call us for more information.

Yes, as long as the person receiving the wine is over the age of 21.

We will not leave wine unattended and you will be charged for the delivery. We will contact you the next time we’re delivering in your area to schedule another attempt.

Pick up

Our warehouse is located at 2258 Central St, Suite 7, Richmond, CA 94801 (get directions). Please contact us to schedule an appointment to pickup your order.

We can typically have an order ready within 1 hour, but it depends on how busy we are and the size of the order. Call us if you need more details.

Returns

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds and returns. Please be sure you’re willing to commit to your order before placing an order. We are unable to accept claims for wines that have already been opened. We have no way of authenticating claims once the cork has been pulled from the bottle, we therefore cannot offer credits or accept returns for bottles that have been opened. If there is a problem with your order at the time of delivery please contact us as soon as possible so we may attempt to resolve the issue in a timely manner.
