Shipping carriers
We ship most orders using Fedex and UPS. We offer different delivery methods at checkout to give you the best value. You can choose from ground to next day delivery service for most zip codes.

Shipping times
We usually ship the next business day for orders that are in-stock. If you are located across the country and your order was placed in the later part of the week, we will often wait to ship your order until the following Monday. If you have specific shipping requirements, please call us or send us an email with your shipping instructions.

International shipments
Please contact us directly to discuss international shipping. Many countries prohibit international shipments of alcohol. It is possible that foreign governments may require taxes and tariffs in order to release the shipment from customs. The customer is responsible for any fees associated with shipping, tariffs, and taxes, as well as any required paperwork or licenses necessary for clearance. European Wine Resource will not refund customers for seizures by customs or any costs associated with duties or taxes. Please contact your local government for details prior to ordering.
PO boxes & APO shipments
Federal law requires an adult signature to deliver alcohol shipments. As a result, we cannot ship to PO boxes and APOs.
Tracking your order
When your order is shipped you will receive an email from us with your tracking information.
Shipping Wine During Extreme temperatures:
We do not recommend shipping wine during extreme temperatures or extreme weather. European Wine Resource cannot be held responsible for wines that become damaged from exposure to extreme temperatures or weather while in transit. Please be mindful of the weather before scheduling your shipments. Shipping delays may occur during transit and delays do not exempt customers from their previously stated responsibilities. Extreme temperatures can damage wine and affect its integrity and drinkability. Extreme temperatures can also cause cork movement and seepage. We always suggest that customers choose the fastest shipping method that fits their budget to minimize the possibility of damage while in transit. We do not suggest shipping wine during summer months, if avoidable. We can hold customer purchases at our temperature-controlled facility for shipping at a later date, when temperatures are suitable for shipping wine.
We offer 1 year of free storage with every purchases! Thereafter we reserve the right to charge $2/month per 9L unit.
Temperature-controlled shipping is available for freight shipments and to select locations in California. Please contact us for more information.
